As we await the arrival of the Star Wars: Battlefront Collection on March 14, 2024 and hopefully the return of competition in Star Wars: Battlefront II we can now take a look back at the first 9 seasons of competition in The Battlefront Community on the PlayStation 2 version of Star Wars: Battlefront II.

Running from December 2007 to July 2013 these first 9 seasons featured fierce competition between rival clans and a ton of skill from the players themselves. While I only played a few matches myself under -MERC- I fondly remember this time for the fun, and the drama, it brought.

Hopefully we will see a revival of this spirit of competition with the Collection.
